Chip Walsh had a 26-year Fortune 500 background where he held senior sales and marketing positions in the Music Industry with Sony Music Entertainment and the Warner Music Group. Chip left the Music Business and entered the Real Estate Industry in 2004. With a background in branding great musical artists, including Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, the Dixie Chicks and many others, Chip came to Real Estate with fresh ideas on how to market and sell houses. As Chip says: “to make these music artists household names, we had to reach out to the consumer and inspire the public to appreciate their great music and how their beautiful songs spoke directly to them”. Chip tweaked the marketing ideas that he used to launch these mega-platinum music careers and applied them in an aggressive way to inspire buyers to realize that a certain home was exactly the right home for them. How does one do this? Chip says, “We have to articulate the particular features that a home possesses that we like to call second to none features. These second to none features of a home speak directly to the right buyer and make them feel like a home is tailor-made for them. When a buyer realizes that a home is the right home for them, then they, in turn, become the right buyer that the Seller has been looking for”.
The entire trick to get this done is to articulate these second to none features of the home and then go out and find that right buyer. Chip says “traditional Real Estate marketing is a fairly passive process. We take a much more aggressive approach to go proactively after the right buyer to achieve the best possible sales prices for our Sellers”. Chip has innovated new methods of identifying who these right buyers actually are. Chip and his Team then go and seek them out. As per Chip, “We have a method of identifying who the exact buyers are that are looking for our listings and then the Team calls their agents directly and gives those agents a reason to show our listing”.
